The LG 42LG60 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV is quite a fine piece of work for right around the $1,000.00 mark.  At the cheaper price, you still get a lot of the features that come standard with higher-priced, larger televisions.  And, the set is quite comparable to any of the Samsung televisions on the market.

The first really nice feature about this television is the 4 HDMI 1.3 digital ports.  One of them is located on the side for trouble-free access.  This means that you can effortlessly hook up a variety of devices to the television.  You can use the television to view your digital pictures or digital videos from your camcorder, making it easier than ever to share your memories with family and friends.

The next stand-out feature is the dynamic contrast ratio.  At 50,000:1, it’s quite close to the higher-priced televisions.  It comes with 1080p full HD resolution so your high definitions movies and television programs will pop on this screen, and it also has Trumotion 120 Hz panel.

The picture on this television is incredibly sharp and clear.   You can watch the picture in a few different modes, including cinema, sport or automatic.  So, you can adjust your viewing settings depending on what you are watching.

Another nice feature about this television is the automatic lighting adjustment.  LCD televisions are known for their ability to work in bright lighting settings, and this feature helps with that.  If you turn on a light or if suddenly you have a burst of sunlight coming through the window, the automatic lighting adjustment will modify the picture to compensate for the new lighting in the room.

At just around $1,000.00, the LG 42LG60 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV is a good investment.  Your HD signal will look great on it.  You can use it with your Blu-ray or high definition movies, and the colors will remain clean, crisp and vibrant.  With many of the features of higher-priced televisions, this HD TV is well worth the investment.
