LG 42LG60 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV
The LG 42LG60 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV is quite a fine piece of work for right around the $1,000.00 mark. At the cheaper price, you still get a lot of the features that come standard with higher-priced, larger televisions. And, the set is quite comparable to any of the Samsung televisions on the market.
The first really nice feature about this television is the 4 HDMI 1.3 digital ports. One of them is located on the side for trouble-free access. This means that you can effortlessly hook up a variety of devices to the television. You can use the television to view your digital pictures or digital videos from your camcorder, making it easier than ever to share your memories with family and friends.
The next stand-out feature is the dynamic contrast ratio. At 50,000:1, it’s quite close to the higher-priced televisions. It comes with 1080p full HD resolution so your high definitions movies and television programs will pop on this screen, and it also has Trumotion 120 Hz panel.
This television is quite nice to look at, and the power button is an interesting feature that can capture a visitor’s attention. The television itself is easy to set up, and you can easily hook up your cable or satellite television box to this television without too much effort.

A nice feature this television has is the swivel stand. This means that you can adjust the television to give you optimal viewing no matter where you are sitting. The only drawback to the swivel stand is that it’s a little technical to put together. You will have to thoroughly read the instructions to figure out how to put it together. But, since these types of stands don’t generally come with televisions in this price range, it’s worth the extra effort.
Also, the sound is quite good. Many LCD televisions have trouble with their sound component. But, despite the fact that this is not surround sound, it still sounds pretty decent. So, you may be able to save money on buying an external home theater surround sound system for a while if you don’t want to put out the extra money.
Another nice thing about the speakers is that they’re hidden. So, you won’t have them distracting you from your viewing experience. The sound has a pretty even quality even if you’re playing video games.
The dimensions of this television are 2.4 X 40.9 X 29.4 inches. It weighs around 45 pounds, which isn’t too bad for a television this large. While you may still want help if you plan on mounting this television on the wall, you’ll probably be able to pretty easily maneuver this television by yourself to take it out of the box or place it on the swivel stand.
The picture on this television is incredibly sharp and clear. You can watch the picture in a few different modes, including cinema, sport or automatic. So, you can adjust your viewing settings depending on what you are watching.
Another nice feature about this television is the automatic lighting adjustment. LCD televisions are known for their ability to work in bright lighting settings, and this feature helps with that. If you turn on a light or if suddenly you have a burst of sunlight coming through the window, the automatic lighting adjustment will modify the picture to compensate for the new lighting in the room.
At just around $1,000.00, the LG 42LG60 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV is a good investment. Your HD signal will look great on it. You can use it with your Blu-ray or high definition movies, and the colors will remain clean, crisp and vibrant. With many of the features of higher-priced televisions, this HD TV is well worth the investment.

Who knows the secret about the LG Plasma TV? I have an LG 50PS60 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV in my library. And I have discovered that arresting the Menu buytton has a trick to it. In a beginning, it reveals the basic screen at a slow pace, then it closes the window and opens a password window. Now interesting, the password set on the TV isn’t the password used here. Does anyone know what this is about?
